You will probably see this as a completely random post, but I just thought that someone out there might benefit from reading this. Also, it's something I'm quite proud of, and it makes me very happy to think about. If you read my last 'Let's Talk' post, you will know that just less than a month ago, I broke up with my boyfriend of 9 months. It was very sad for both of us at the time, but if you want to know more about it then click here.
Since school went back however, we have become even closer than before and are now 100% comfortable around each other. He's still the only person outside of my family that I feel like I can completely trust to keep a secret, and apparently he feels the same about me. I don't really know why I felt the need to write about this and put it on my blog, but I guess just to prove that even though a relationship has ended, it doesn't mean you can't be close friends with them. I've always been terrible at being friends with guys, because when I was younger I only every had girls as friends, so if I can do it, anyone can!
So that's all for today, and I'm sorry if that was completely random, but I just wanted to share it with you all :) See you next week!

Hi! I'm really glad that you've managed to regain your friendship with him! It must have been a really tough time for you both but you managed to move on. It's definitely very hard to feel comfortable around your ex, so I applaud you. After 2 years, I still haven't spoken a work to mine - anyway, that's a completely different story..

Thanks Elsie :) It probably helps that we see each other 6 days a week because of school and band, and we are also part of the same friendship group. I'm sorry that you didn't regain friendship with your ex, but I guess it's different for everyone.

I totally agree! I feel like lots of girls (unfortunately, I sometimes fit into this category) are willing to blab about anything anyone tells them, even if it's an accident. But in my experience, guys are usually less gossipy and easier to trust

ReplyDeleteI had never been friends with any guy until halfway through year 10, because I always kind of felt like girls should just be friends with girls (and vice versa) which is what works for lots of people. I think it's just personal preference and who you fit in with the most as you get older.

I love to read anyone's stories about their relationsip. Well, I love to be friends with boys too. I have one guy friend and i'm really enjoy to be his friend. I love to tell him anything and i can tell secrets to him without worrying the other friends will know. But i don't think i'm going to have a relationship with him,tho. i'm not ready. for this time until several years ahead maybe i just wanna be a best friend. well, it's nice too, to be a boy's best friend. Hi Hana, thanks for stopping by my blog! I agree, guy friends are the best and they don't gossip as much as girls (as far as I know) so they can be easier to trust. And I think its good that you don't want to jump right into a relationship, because whilst I loved being in a relationship, it's a lot of work!
